To enhance the comparability and reproducibility of soft matter mechanical data across laboratories, we are launching a brief, community-driven inter-laboratory validation. We have prepared agarose gel calibration samples for measuring the mechanical properties of soft matter and invite laboratories to participate in a short inter-laboratory validation.

- Measure using your modality; document any deviations.
- Return raw data, processed values, and metadata via our template.
- Optional 60‑min coordination call.

- Measurements: by 31 Mar 2026
- Data submission: by 7 Apr 2026
