Abstract and Registration for Local Mechanical Properties Conference open until 30. November 2023!

The Sixteenth International Conference on Local Mechanical Properties will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from Wednesday, May 29, to Friday, May 31, 2024.

This year, the conference is organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Republic. Following a long tradition and the success of the preceding events, LMP has become a well-established forum in the field of local mechanical testing. The conference will discuss recent results of research and development in the field of materials engineering, experimental methods, modeling, etc., with the aim to characterize mechanical properties of materials from nano to micro/meso-scale.

Contributions on indentation and other methods for mechanical properties characterization, measurement of deformations and stresses, time-dependent properties with related microstructure analyses (TEM/SEM, AFM, TERS, XRD, etc.) regardless of material type (metals, ceramics, plastics, biomaterials, concrete, etc.) are welcome. Contributions containing a combination of the techniques and micro-structurally motivated material models are highly appreciated. However, the contributions related to global mechanical properties are out of the scope of the conference.

The best news is that MecaNano will be sponsoring a session at the conferece! Write your abstract today!

More details at LMP website (http://lmp-conference.cz/). The submission deadline is November 30, 2023.
