PhD position at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) under the supervision of Dr. Tymoffii Khvan and Prof. Łukasz Kurpaska.
The PhD research will focus on implementing strain gradient theory into crystal plasticity finite element modeling (CPFEM), with validation through experimental nanoindentation. This program will be conducted in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and involves research at both JRC in the Netherlands and NCBJ in Poland. While there is no formal deadline for applications, the successful candidate is expected to begin in early 2025.
