Structuring research data in materials science: from metadata to knowledge

This online series focuses on how structured research data can enable better data integration and reuse in materials science. Starting from the basics of scientific metadata and FAIR data, the sessions move toward ontologies, knowledge graphs, and emerging approaches using large language models (LLMs) to structure materials data. The series concludes with guest talks and a pitching event showcasing RDM solutions within the MecaNano community.

All seminars will be held online using Zoom on Wednesdays 10:00–11:00 CEST. Links will be sent to only those registered by the deadline (Friday before the seminar) 1-2 days ahead.
